Voice/VoIP & MS Teams Voice Expert

About the role

Sartorius is looking for a Voice/VoIP and Microsoft Teams Voice expert for its IT Foundation Services department. You will help operate, stabilise and evolve the global communication infrastructure using modern cloud-based telephony, with a focus on high availability, security and call quality. The position is full-time and hybrid, with some days on site in Madrid (Spain) or M'hamedia (Tunisia).

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and improve the global Microsoft Teams Voice infrastructure, including Call Queues, Auto Attendants, Direct Routing and Operator Connect.
• Ensure a high-quality end-user experience focused on usability, performance and stability.
• Manage SIP trunking and coordinate with telecom carriers across EMEA, AMER and APAC.
• Support voice security controls, QoS measures and compliance requirements.
• Automate administrative tasks with PowerShell scripting.
• Troubleshoot complex telephony issues on Apple endpoints and mobile devices as third-level support.
• Work with workplace services, security teams and end users to align voice solutions with operational needs.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and best practices, and document configurations, processes and standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology or comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience with Microsoft Teams Voice architecture and telephony systems.
• Fluent English; occasional willingness to travel.

Required skills

• SIP, VoIP protocols and SBC configuration.
• Voice networking troubleshooting and monitoring tools.
• Microsoft 365, Azure AD and Active Directory.
• PowerShell scripting.
• Preferred: Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer (MS-720) certification.
