T24 Technical Specialist

About the role

This position covers the T24 banking application (TAFJ) within a banking environment. The specialist supports installation, configuration and day-to-day administration of T24, provides operational support for Temenos applications, and works closely with technical and infrastructure teams.

Key responsibilities

• Understand T24 application architecture and assist in planning, installing and configuring T24 software
• Provide operational support for Temenos banking software and troubleshoot T24-related issues
• Support change management, release management, incident management and problem management
• Collaborate with technical and infrastructure teams to set up the required hardware and software environment
• Perform day-to-day administration and system monitoring, including log analysis and performance tuning
• Optimize configurations and settings, and support and tune daily close-of-business processes
• Deploy core updates and releases for TAFJ and T24 Browser
• Document architecture, tuning processes and DR/HA procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
• Coach, mentor and share knowledge with the team

Required profile

• Experience implementing and administering T24 (TAFJ) in a banking environment
• Good understanding of Temenos Transact concepts: Infobasic, Java/JEE, OFS, COB, L2/L3 development, TOCFEE, TAFJEE
• Knowledge of Java VMs, WAR and EAR artifacts, performance tuning, and SOAP/REST APIs and integration middleware
• Deep knowledge of Red Hat OS administration and JBoss AS standalone/domain mode
• Good understanding of ITIL service management practices
• English and French communication skills; ability to work independently, under pressure and in high availability environments
• Master's degree in information technology or a related field
