Senior Network Engineer (Cloud & On-Prem)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation and optimisation of our global network infrastructure across both cloud and on‑premise environments. The role will involve working with a variety of vendors and technologies to ensure high‑performance, secure connectivity for the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain global network components including Azure cloud services, routers, switches, VPNs and firewalls from multiple vendors (e.g., Cisco).
• Monitor network performance and capacity daily, and implement timely solutions to restore functionality.
• Respond to network incidents, coordinate escalations and support audit & compliance activities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date network documentation, diagrams and operational procedures.
• Plan and execute network changes, hardware installations, software updates and configuration modifications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, vendors and regional offices to align network services with business needs.
• Manage projects related to hardware installation, de‑commissioning and automation initiatives.
• Utilise monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, SolarWinds, Thousand Eyes, Grafana and Prometheus.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in network engineering within a global environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, SD‑WAN, ISE and Cisco routing/switching.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust security models and web content filtering solutions (e.g., Zscaler).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and related networking services.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines and communicate effectively across regions.
