Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote, Tunisia)

About the role

K-LAGAN is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its team and drive the automation, reliability and security of its cloud infrastructure. You will design and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines, optimise cloud environments and work closely with development and data engineering teams. The position supports Spain remotely from Tunisia under a contractor agreement, on a full-time schedule aligned with Tunisia's time zone.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision and maintain secure, highly available cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Build, scale and optimise CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or AWS CodePipeline.
• Manage and monitor containerised environments with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS) for resilient, zero-downtime deployments.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting with tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana or the ELK stack.
• Integrate automated security testing, vulnerability scanning, secrets management and compliance controls (GDPR, DORA, ISO 27001).
• Design backup, replication, failover and disaster recovery mechanisms in multi-region cloud setups.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers and security teams in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban).

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Senior DevOps, SRE or Cloud Engineer roles.
• Deep production experience with AWS or Azure native services and architecture.
• Advanced English (C1 level), spoken and written.
• Location: 100% remote, residency in Tunisia required.

Required skills

• Terraform or OpenTofu; Python, Bash/Shell or Go for scripting and automation.
• Docker, Kubernetes, microservices and service mesh concepts.
• Nice to have: cloud certifications (AWS DevOps Professional, Microsoft DevOps Expert, CKA/CKAD), Ansible/Puppet/Chef, and experience with data platforms or real-time systems.
