Senior Data Analyst (Azure) – Remote from Tunisia

About the role

K-LAGAN is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to turn complex datasets into actionable business insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design dashboards, analyze key metrics and support data-driven decisions. The position supports Spain remotely from Tunisia as a full-time independent contractor, working on a full-time schedule aligned with Tunisia's time zone.

Key responsibilities

• Data analysis and modeling: query, clean and model structured and unstructured data to find trends, anomalies and operational insights.
• Dashboards and reporting: design, build and maintain interactive dashboards and KPI reports with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
• Business partnering: translate business requirements into analytical solutions with product, operations and technical teams.
• Data quality and governance: validate data integrity, standardize metric definitions and work with data engineering teams on database optimization.
• Ad-hoc analytics: run exploratory data analysis and quantitative investigations to answer complex business questions.
• Agile collaboration: work in Scrum/Kanban as part of an international distributed team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst or similar quantitative role.
• Advanced English (C1 level), spoken and written.
• Location: 100% remote, residency in Tunisia required.
• Nice to have: basic knowledge of Azure Synapse, Snowflake, BigQuery or AWS Redshift; familiarity with A/B testing or predictive modeling; BI certification such as PL-300.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, query optimization).
• Python or R for data manipulation and analysis (Pandas, NumPy).
• Power BI (DAX, Power Query) or equivalent BI tools.
