QA Engineer - AI-Native (Remote, Tunisia)
Storyteller
Job description
About the role
Storyteller is a high-growth B2B SaaS platform that lets companies add Stories experiences to their apps and websites, combining SDKs, publishing tools, analytics and advertising support. It works with major sports and media brands. This is an AI-native quality engineering role: you use AI coding agents and related tools to explore SDK codebases, build automated tests, understand unfamiliar code and diagnose failures. The work covers SDK quality and the integration between SDKs, platform services and APIs, initially focusing on iOS and Android.
Key responsibilities
- Use AI coding agents and tools to explore SDK codebases and speed up quality work
- Identify the highest-value quality improvements based on product, technical, integration and release risk
- Design and maintain unit and component tests for SDK behaviour, and integration tests for SDK interactions with services and APIs
- Put automated tests into CI and release workflows, with clear, actionable failures
- Investigate bugs using code, logs, APIs and test results, and follow them through to a fix where possible
- Work with builders to improve testability and turn repeated issues into reusable AI workflows, tools or test assets
- Communicate clearly in Slack and other team systems, stating evidence, impact, understanding, owner and next action
- Contribute to tvOS, Android TV, Fire TV, Web and Roku as the role's scope grows
Required profile
- AI-native execution: using AI to do substantive technical work, giving it context, breaking down problems and validating its output
- Judgment on what is worth testing and on the value of automated tests
- Ownership of quality outcomes while working as an individual contributor alongside builders and product owners
- Comfortable with repositories, code, APIs, CI, logs, command-line tools and test frameworks
- Clear, concise communication and quick learning of new products and tools
Nice to have: experience with mobile apps or SDKs, Swift or Kotlin, API integration and automated testing frameworks. No need for expert Swift or Kotlin, deep experience across all platforms or a traditional QA title.
What we offer
- Up to EUR 20,000 per year on a full-time contractor contract
- Fully remote work from anywhere in Tunisia
- High-growth product used by leading global brands, especially in sports
Recruitment starts with a 20-30 minute conversation with the hiring manager, then a paid take-home quality task of about 60 minutes, followed by review.
