Junior RPA Developer

About the role

The Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Process Automation, part of the Technology & Data department in TUI Global Business Services, specialises in automating manual processes and is the central unit for all Robotic Process Automation (RPA) activities within the TUI Group. The Junior RPA Developer works closely with the rest of the RPA CoE team to deliver solutions that meet business requirements. It is an internal client-facing role requiring good communication skills to explain technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing robots and implementing RPA solutions across all business functions
• Work with RPA developers and analysts to make sure robots are efficient and of high quality, performing continuous technical tests and checking plausibility, functionality, performance and quality before and during operation
• Support further development, including error analysis and elimination
• Maintain existing robots and redesign solutions of existing robots
• Create and maintain technical design documents and test scenario documentation
• Support stakeholders in troubleshooting technical issues
• Collaborate with business subject matter experts during and after development

Required profile

• University degree or appropriate training in informatics, or comparable knowledge
• First experience in IT or automation, gained through internships
• Ability to gather business requirements and stakeholder management and communication skills
• Interest in learning development, structured and logical thinking, problem solving, prioritisation and planning, attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, and in a global, multi-geography, multicultural environment
• Fluent English; German is a plus
