Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

About the role

Vneuron, a leading RegTech company, is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to shape and protect its innovative compliance platform. You will lead the design and implementation of a robust information security management system and guide the organization toward ISO 27001 certification.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive ISMS compliant with ISO 27001.
• Lead the organization toward ISO 27001 certification and ensure audit readiness.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate information security risks across all departments.
• Strengthen data security, confidentiality, and incident‑response processes.
• Integrate logical, technical, and physical security controls into the ISMS framework.
• Conduct internal audits and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Develop and deliver employee awareness and security training programs.
• Monitor regulatory requirements such as GDPR and ensure ongoing compliance.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in information security, including senior leadership roles; CISO experience is a plus.
• Strong expertise in ISO 27001 frameworks and information security governance.
• Solid understanding of GDPR and other regulatory compliance obligations.
• Background in software security and secure development practices is advantageous.
• Excellent risk‑management and incident‑response capabilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CISA, CRISC) are a plus.
