Production and Architecture Consultant

About the role

The PAC team provides customized external client technical support for Murex’s Europe, Middle East and Africa business units. We are looking for a highly analytical and motivated individual to join us. In this role you will maximise client satisfaction with the MX.3 platform by handling complex technical cases and ensuring best‑practice implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Size and specify infrastructure hardware based on client requirements.
• Design disaster‑recovery site strategies and provide ongoing support.
• Ensure platform security, including encryption of data in transit and at rest.
• Lead, design and execute performance non‑functional testing streams.
• Assist clients in creating monitoring dashboards using APM solutions.
• Deliver robust technical solutions that are maintainable, scalable and testable.
• Handle client production issues for MX.3 through CRM support cases.
• Collaborate with client‑services and development teams to improve the product.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Eagerness to learn the latest Murex technologies.
• Passion for problem‑solving and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Ability to work under pressure in operations and support environments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Team player capable of interacting with colleagues across regions.

Required skills

• Programming: Java or C and any interpreted language.
• Database: SQL query building, performance analysis; Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, PostgreSQL knowledge a plus.
• Operating systems: Linux with Bash scripting.
• Java profiling and debugging tools (thread dumps, heap dumps, GC analysis).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools.
• Ability to analyse Java thread dumps.
