Maintenance Section Leader

About the role

The Maintenance Section Leader will direct all maintenance activities across the plant, ensuring equipment reliability and supporting production goals. Reporting to plant management, you will act as the bridge between maintenance teams and operations, fostering safety and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Supervisors on all shifts, ensuring consistent performance and effective handovers.
• Align maintenance priorities with production schedules and plant objectives.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programmes.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as downtime, MTBF, MTTR, cost and backlog.
• Enforce safety procedures including LOTO and permit‑to‑work systems.
• Manage resources, including workforce allocation and spare‑parts inventory.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives using RCA, TPM, lean tools and audit processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with supervisory responsibility.
• Proven leadership in a multi‑shift environment.
• Experience with CMMS for planning and tracking maintenance work.
• Fluent in English and French, with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
