Quality Coordinator – Automotive Production

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Quality Coordinator to join Lear’s new Thermal Comfort Systems (TCS) plant in Bizerte, Tunisia. The role supports and monitors quality processes in an automotive production environment, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards such as IATF 16949 and VDA.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure manufacturing processes meet defined quality standards and customer requirements.
• Supervise product and material quality, conduct audits, and manage documentation.
• Handle customer complaints, prepare 8‑D reports using 5‑Why and Ishikawa analysis.
• Lead part approval (PPAP) activities according to VDA 2 and AIAG norms.
• Report and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous‑improvement projects.
• Maintain workplace order following 5S principles and support team management.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (mechanical, industrial or related).
• Minimum 3 years of automotive industry experience in quality.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 requirements and VDA 6.3 audit processes.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with production, engineering and customer teams.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• APQP, MSA, SPC, Control Plan, FMEA, PPAP.

• 8‑D problem‑solving, 5‑Why, Ishikawa diagram.
• 5S workplace organization.
