HR Assistant – Tunis

About the role

Pharmalys Laboratories is seeking an HR Assistant to support its Human Resources department in Tunis. Reporting to the HR Director, you will help develop HR objectives, manage employee relations, and ensure compliance with local labor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in full-cycle recruitment: source candidates, screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and manage onboarding documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records, track leave and attendance, and process payroll using Sage Paie.
• Gather and analyse HR data to produce metrics such as time‑to‑hire and turnover rates.
• Support internal audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and help align global HR strategies with local needs.
• Provide frontline employee‑relations support and prepare regular HR reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a generalist HR support role.
• Professional proficiency in French and English (written and spoken).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, process‑driven and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using HR and payroll software, specifically SAGE (Sage Paie).
