Web Development & SCM Engineer

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is seeking two engineers specialized in web development and software configuration management to work on critical internal applications such as SmartDoc and TeamTrack within a secure network environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain internal web applications, including SmartDoc and TeamTrack.
• Manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Administer, configure, and support SCM platforms such as ClearCase, SVN, and Git.
• Develop automation and integration scripts using Python, Bash, PowerShell, and SQL.
• Configure, maintain, and enhance Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Integrate and automate development workflows through GitHub, Tuleap, and Artifactory APIs.
• Provide technical expertise and support to development and engineering teams.
• Produce technical documentation, operating procedures, and user guides.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Development.
• 6+ years of experience in web development and SCM management.
• Ability to work in a secure network environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, Node.js, ColdFusion.
• Database expertise: MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• SCM tools: Git, SVN, ClearCase.
• Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell, SQL.
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of GitHub, Tuleap, Artifactory.
• Advanced expertise in TeamTrack/SBM SOAP Web Services.
• Strong proficiency in API-driven development and REST API integrations (GitHub, Artifactory).
