Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

The Supplier Quality Engineer ensures that all suppliers meet Bulgin's quality, environmental and regulatory standards. You will monitor supplier performance, conduct audits, and drive corrective actions to maintain high‑quality components for our products.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor supplier quality performance and approved supplier status.
• Conduct supplier assessments and audits, including follow‑up and closure of findings.
• Handle SCARs, 8D reports, and corrective/preventive actions with suppliers.
• Verify supplier compliance with quality and environmental requirements.
• Support New Product Development (NPD/NPI) activities such as PPAP and PFMEA.
• Oversee incoming inspection, sampling plans, and supplier‑related quality controls.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce failures, scrap, and enhance supplier performance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, Product Marketing and suppliers.
• Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, PPAP, 8D and other quality tools.
• Experience with manufacturing and production processes.
• Excellent English communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
