Project quality technician

About the role

The Project Quality Technician ensures product and process quality during the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase, aligning with customer, company, and regulatory requirements. This role supports production teams by providing technical quality expertise and maintaining traceability of quality records.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections, controls, and testing on incoming and in‑process parts.
• Identify non‑conformities, conduct root‑cause analysis, and support corrective‑action implementation.
• Maintain and update control plans, PPAP packages, and other quality documentation.
• Conduct first‑sample inspections and generate dimensional and quality reports.
• Support audits of products and manufacturing processes.
• Raise quality alerts and participate in problem‑solving activities such as 8D and 5‑Why.
• Ensure proper archiving and traceability of all quality records.
• Provide technical quality assistance to production and project teams.

Required profile

• Technical higher education (BTS or equivalent).
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing quality environments.
• Familiarity with quality tools such as PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, 5‑Why, and 5M.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and use measurement/testing equipment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality control processes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
