Specialist Material Flow Planning

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Specialist Material Flow Planning to define and implement standard material flow processes and KPIs across raw material, semi‑finished and finished goods warehouses. The role supports lean material flow, capacity planning and technical changes in a fast‑moving automotive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement standard material flow processes and KPIs for all warehouse types.
• Calculate optimized Kanban quantities considering demand, supplier constraints, replenishment times and ABC/XYZ parameters.
• Determine appropriate Kanban box types based on quantity, weight, volume and storage requirements.
• Design and optimise warehouse layout, storage locations and space requirements with ergonomic and supplier considerations.
• Estimate resources needed for lean material flow, including workload, personnel, equipment, CAPEX, headcount and space.
• Maintain MIN‑MAX level calculations in CAO eKanban for cut wires and pre‑assembly products.
• Support bundle size definition and technical changes by planning run‑in/run‑out of circuits and sub‑assemblies.

Required profile

• Engineer or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong communication, intercultural sensitivity and change‑management abilities.
