Specialist HSEE – Health, Safety, Environment & Energy

About the role

The Specialist HSEE will lead health, safety, environment and energy initiatives at LEONI's Tunisian site. You will ensure compliance with legal requirements, drive continuous improvement and support the site’s strategic HSEE objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct investigations, studies, analyses, inspections and produce related reports.
• Implement the site HSEE strategy and prepare internal release instructions.
• Consolidate, monitor and report on HSEE KPIs and status reports.
• Organise waste management, recycling programmes and ensure permit compliance.
• Deliver environmental and safety training, create emergency plans and conduct internal audits.
• Investigate incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Carry out safety inspections, ergonomic and risk assessments, and manage protective equipment controls.
• Authorize production stops when unsafe conditions are identified.

Required profile

• University degree in Energy, Environmental Engineering, Health & Safety Management, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent English (C1 level) and solid knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 (a plus).
• Experience in risk assessment, hazard identification, incident investigation and emergency preparedness.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
