Solution Engineer – Microsoft Ecosystem Solutions

About the role

RidgePoint is seeking a Solution Engineer to lead technical pre‑sales activities for its Microsoft‑focused portfolio across the Middle East and Africa. You will work closely with the Account Executive to demonstrate value, run proofs of concept and enable partners.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Account Executive on every qualified opportunity, driving the technical side of MEDDIC and shaping decision criteria.
• Conduct deep technical discovery of customers' Microsoft estates, including device management, application packaging and delivery.
• Deliver tailored demos of Recast Right Click Tools and Application Workspace, and design/run proofs of concept with clear success criteria.
• Produce solution designs, architecture diagrams, security/compliance responses and RFP answers for regulated and public‑sector accounts.
• Train and enable reseller and system‑integrator engineers, supporting their first deals and building self‑sufficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years in presales, solution engineering or senior endpoint/end‑user computing roles within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Hands‑on experience with ConfigMgr, Intune, Entra ID and Active Directory in production environments.
• Strong background in enterprise‑scale application packaging (MSI, MSIX) and deployment processes.
• Fluent English; Arabic and French are advantageous.

Required skills

• Microsoft endpoint management: ConfigMgr, Intune, Entra ID, Active Directory
• PowerShell scripting and ability to build POC environments on Windows Server and SQL Server
• Application packaging and delivery technologies: MSI, MSIX
