Site Technical Head

About the role

Opella, a self-care company with manufacturing sites, is looking for a Site Technical Head in Megrine. The role ensures the reliability, availability and compliance of all technical infrastructure and leads the site's technical teams so that engineering, utilities, facilities and infrastructure support safe, compliant and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Site Technical teams
• Ensure the reliability, availability and optimal performance of equipment and technical assets
• Define and implement preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance strategies
• Oversee utilities, energy and industrial fluids, HVAC, buildings, housekeeping and site infrastructure
• Manage technical budgets, maintenance costs and investment plans
• Lead technical and continuous improvement projects and support new installations
• Ensure compliance with HSE, GMP and applicable regulatory requirements, and promote a strong safety culture
• Manage technical risks, audits, contractors and technical service providers
• Develop technical capabilities and ensure succession and skills development within the team
• Provide technical expertise and support to other site functions

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Electromechanics, Energy or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance and technical operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical, FMCH, FMCG or chemical industry
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing technical projects
• Fluent in French and English
