Senior AI Engineer (Python + AI)

About the role

A senior position for an AI engineer focused on building production-grade LLM applications with Python. The role covers agentic workflows, scalable backend services, real-time AI streaming and event-driven systems, and includes mentoring the engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Build agentic workflows using LangGraph, LangChain, tool calling and RAG.
• Develop scalable backend services with Python, FastAPI and asynchronous programming.
• Implement real-time AI streaming using WebSockets and SSE.
• Design event-driven systems using message brokers and background workers.
• Manage Docker, CI/CD, automated testing, LLM evaluations and observability.
• Optimize AI systems for reliability, security, latency and cost.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor engineering team members.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years building production-grade LLM applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Arabic (mandatory) and professional English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• Python, FastAPI, REST APIs, distributed systems and software architecture.
• LangGraph, LangChain, RAG, PostgreSQL, Redis and vector databases.
• Docker, CI/CD, WebSockets and event-driven architecture.
