Remote Collections Specialist

About the role

Join Whizz’s remote team as a Collections Specialist, helping to secure timely payments while delivering exceptional customer service. You will play a key part in maintaining healthy cash flow and supporting the company’s growth in e‑mobility solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and track overdue accounts, following established protocols to secure payments.
• Maintain accurate records of delinquent accounts, including payment arrangements, communications, and invoices.
• Provide courteous, solution‑focused service to balance high customer satisfaction with effective collections.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve disputes and customer issues efficiently.
• Prepare regular reports on collection activities and progress.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal collection laws.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in collections.
• Fluent English (C1 level); additional languages such as French, Arabic, or Spanish are a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong negotiation abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to handle challenging customers.
• Reliable high‑speed internet, personal computer, and headset.
• Availability for 40‑hour weeks, with 8‑9 hour shifts scheduled between 9 AM‑8 PM EST.
