Junior Field Service Technician – North Africa & Middle East

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Field Service Technician to support our customers across North Africa and the Middle East. Based in Sousse, you will travel to customer sites to install, maintain and optimise ultrasonic welding equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on ultrasonic welding systems at customer locations.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, installations, commissioning and validation of equipment.
• Train customers on operation and maintenance of Schunk Sonosystems equipment.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance documentation and technical quotations.
• Manage service assignments, spare parts, documentation and customer complaints using the CRM system.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and ensure high customer satisfaction while complying with internal guidelines and the Schunk Group Code of Conduct.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation or a comparable technical field (Bac+2/Bac+3).
• First relevant experience in industrial maintenance, field service or technical customer support.
• Valid category B driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across North Africa and the Middle East.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, structured and reliable work style.
• High level of customer orientation and strong communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in Arabic and English.
