Junior Field Service Technician – North Africa & Middle East

About the role

As a Junior Field Service Technician you will support Schunk Sonosystems customers across North Africa and the Middle East. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and commissioning ultrasonic welding equipment and related cable‑processing systems on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance at customer locations.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot, repair, install, commission and validate equipment.
• Train customers on operation and maintenance of Schunk Sonosystems solutions.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance documentation and technical quotations.
• Manage spare parts, service documentation and customer complaints in the CRM system.
• Coordinate service assignments and maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and the Schunk Group Code of Conduct.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation or a comparable technical field (Bac+2/Bac+3).
• First relevant experience in industrial maintenance, field service or technical customer support.
• Valid category B driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the region.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, structured work style and high customer orientation.
