Intellectual Property Lawyer – Brand Safety & IP Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented, analytical, and proactive Brand Safety & IP Specialist to join our team. The role focuses on ensuring digital content is legally compliant, managing licensing matters, and handling copyright claims across major platforms such as Meta, YouTube, and Snapchat.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate content licensing, UGC, and commercial agreements with fast turnaround times.
• Assess legal, reputational, copyright, and monetization risks on Meta, YouTube, and Snapchat and advise internal teams.
• Conduct legal research on IP, copyright, licensing, and digital media, producing clear memos and recommendations.
• Manage copyright claims, strikes, disputes, and appeals through platform systems, recommending appropriate actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Law, preferably with a specialization in Intellectual Property, Media Law, or related fields; bar qualification or PhD is a strong plus.
• Previous experience in a law firm or corporate setting handling IP and copyright matters, with exposure to digital media, UGC, or brand safety.
• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken); French is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with legal research tools and databases.

What we offer

• Monthly fee of USD 1,300 paid in two installments.
