About the role
Devoteam is looking for a Data Privacy Consultant to help clients align their policies with the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and promote a culture of data protection across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure client policies comply with codes of practice such as PDPL.
- Draft, update, and amend internal data protection policies, guidelines, and procedures in consultation with key stakeholders.
- Advise data controllers and processors on all data protection matters and act as the point of contact for data protection authorities.
- Conduct audits to verify compliance and address potential issues.
- Maintain records of all data processing activities.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in personal data privacy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or Information Management.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is highly desirable.
Required skills
- CDMP certification.
- CIPP certification (a plus).
- Knowledge of industry‑leading data governance and data management practices.
