Incoming Quality & Metrology Engineer

About the role

CASCO Automotive Tunisia is seeking an Incoming Quality & Metrology Engineer to join its Quality Department. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will ensure the conformity of incoming materials, manage supplier‑related quality alerts, and maintain the reliability of the site’s measurement equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming quality inspections for purchased materials, components and products, including release, blocking, traceability and quarantine.
• Lead first‑level response to production quality alerts caused by suspected supplier defects, handling containment, sorting, evidence collection and escalation.
• Maintain the site’s metrology system: calibration, verification, traceability and equipment conformity.
• Perform advanced dimensional measurements using CMM equipment and produce detailed measurement reports.
• Interpret technical drawings and GD&T requirements to identify dimensional deviations.
• Support supplier quality activities, including containment follow‑up, problem‑solving and corrective‑action monitoring.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Bac+5) in Quality, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or Metrology; a Bac+3 may be considered with proven metrology experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality control, incoming or supplier quality within the automotive industry.
• At least 2 years of autonomous CMM operation and practical metrology experience.
• Good knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, GD&T and to manage measurement traceability.
