Maintenance Technician – CNC & Machine Repair

About the role

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to provide mechanical, electrical and control support for a wide range of production machining equipment, including complex CNC machines and auxiliary systems. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in a fast‑paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all assets, ensuring proper operating condition.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on 5‑axis milling, mill‑turn applications, and lathes.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC, HMI, servomotor, servo amplifier, I/O and sensor failures.
• Service hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including actuators, valves, pumps and filters.
• Repair mechanical components such as ballscrews, linear rails, guideways and gearboxes.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts and company vehicles as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience repairing industrial machines, including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and able to work with urgency.

Required skills

• CNC control systems (Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain, Allen Bradley).
• PLC and HMI troubleshooting.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic system repair.
• Mechanical repair of ballscrews, linear rails, gearboxes.
• Electrical repair and wiring.
• Forklift and lift equipment operation.
• Advanced MS Office for detailed repair reporting.
