Financial Analyst – FP&A

About the role

CareerBoosts, a B2B SaaS startup focused on workforce modernization in the Middle East, is looking for a dynamic Financial Analyst to join the team full‑time. You will support financial planning and analysis, providing data‑driven insights that guide strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed financial records, budgets, and forecasts.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and support decision‑making.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash‑flow statements.
• Track key financial metrics and KPIs, delivering regular performance reports.
• Conduct cost and profitability analyses, recommending cost‑reduction and pricing strategies.
• Automate reporting processes and implement financial tools to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Develop and refine financial forecasting models for long‑term planning.
• Perform variance analysis and reconcile discrepancies between actuals and forecasts.
• Coordinate with external accountants for timely record‑keeping.
• Create and improve pricing models to assess profitability.
• Generate invoices, manage accounts receivable, and support cash‑flow health.
• Process payroll accurately and on schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA or professional certifications (CFA, CPA) are a plus.
• 2–3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or corporate finance, preferably in a startup or fast‑growing environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modeling.
• Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks.
