About the role
The Data Science Engineer in Infor's IDeAS division designs, builds, and operationalizes large‑scale predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions for customers across industries.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and orchestrate end‑to‑end machine‑learning pipelines, including model deployment and inference.
- Create ETL/ELT pipelines from customer data sources to support ML requirements.
- Lead discussions with business stakeholders to identify AI/ML opportunities and communicate results.
- Perform exploratory data analysis on large, complex datasets to assess quality and extract insights.
Required profile
- Engineering degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Operations Research, Mathematics).
- Hands‑on experience designing and implementing full ML/optimization solution pipelines from data ingestion to model deployment.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Required skills
- Python programming
- SQL and/or PySpark for data querying
- Machine‑learning frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras
- Data‑visualisation tools: Tableau, Power BI
