Data Science Engineer

About the role

The Data Science Engineer in Infor's IDeAS division designs, builds, and operationalizes large‑scale predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions for customers across industries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and orchestrate end‑to‑end machine‑learning pipelines, including model deployment and inference.
• Create ETL/ELT pipelines from customer data sources to support ML requirements.
• Lead discussions with business stakeholders to identify AI/ML opportunities and communicate results.
• Perform exploratory data analysis on large, complex datasets to assess quality and extract insights.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Operations Research, Mathematics).
• Hands‑on experience designing and implementing full ML/optimization solution pipelines from data ingestion to model deployment.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Python programming
• SQL and/or PySpark for data querying
• Machine‑learning frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras
• Data‑visualisation tools: Tableau, Power BI
