Customer Support Specialist – Financial Platforms (German)

About the role

Regnology is looking for a motivated, customer‑oriented professional to join its Global Support team as a Customer Support Specialist for financial platforms. This entry‑level position serves as the first point of contact for clients using Regnology’s regulatory, risk and tax reporting software, and contributes to 24/7 service continuity through a Follow‑the‑Sun support model.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary support for clients using financial reporting products, addressing inquiries on business rules, configurations and report outputs.
• Analyze and troubleshoot data discrepancies, reporting logic and system behavior using internal tools, configuration reviews and log analysis.
• Guide clients through issue resolution while maintaining clear, structured communication.
• Investigate regulatory calculation discrepancies and collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule for urgent support outside regular business hours.
• Support high‑priority or platform‑wide incidents, ensuring seamless handover across regions.
• Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives to improve support processes and product features.
• Help develop internal knowledge‑base content and client‑facing documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Information Systems or a related field.
• Fluent German language skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work in a global, follow‑the‑sun environment.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call rotations and handle urgent issues.
