Senior SAP FICO Consultant

About the role

PwC is seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant to lead implementation, enhancement and optimisation of SAP Finance and Controlling modules for complex, multinational projects. The role combines functional finance expertise with strong analytical abilities to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the implementation and support of SAP FI (Finance, Asset Accounting, AP, AR, Bank Accounting) and CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Month‑End Closing, Assessments & Settlements).
• Analyse business processes, lead workshops, document functional specifications and design solutions.
• Configure, customise and test SAP FI/CO modules, identify gaps and propose work‑arounds.
• Provide troubleshooting, user training and functional support during rollout and post‑go‑live.
• Prepare functional documents, test scenarios and results, and contribute to both new implementations and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams and cross‑functional consultants to ensure project planning, delivery and risk management.

Required profile

• 5–6 years of SAP FICO experience, including full‑cycle implementations and support.
• Participation in at least three to four implementation projects, preferably in multinational environments.
• Strong understanding of financial and controlling processes under IFRS and US GAAP.
• Fluency in French and English, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables.
• Results‑oriented, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• SAP FI and SAP CO functional expertise.
• Knowledge of complementary SAP solutions such as ARIBA, IBP, SuccessFactors, Concur, SAC and MDG.
• Experience with cross‑module integration (FI‑SD, FI‑MM, CO‑PS).
• SAP certification (preferred).
