Customer Quality Engineer

About the role

Autoliv’s mission is to save lives by delivering high‑quality safety systems. As a Customer Quality Engineer at the Autoliv Tunisia plant, you will act as the primary liaison between the plant and our automotive customers, ensuring that quality issues are resolved quickly and that product performance meets the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the Autoliv Tunisia plant in resolving customer quality issues.
• Serve as the main interface with all relevant departments to ensure timely completion of 8D reports.
• Coordinate the availability and return of defective products.
• Implement and monitor sorting and rework activities at the customer site.
• Support new product launches at customer sites.
• Manage warranty returns, including analysis and 8D problem solving.
• Travel to customer sites when required and analyze returns to assess severity.
• Implement containment actions and ensure the return of defective parts, transferring information for further analysis.
• Provide necessary elements for quality analysis and participate in expert review committees.
• Inform customers about products, audit compliance with assembly recommendations, and address on‑site quality issues.
• Comply with customer regulations and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Fluency in English, French, and Arabic.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency with problem‑solving methodologies such as 8D, PDCA, 5M, 5P, and Ishikawa.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements and customer‑specific quality standards.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
