About the role
We are looking for a skilled Cariste (forklift operator) to join our warehouse team in the food-processing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving, loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently within our storage facility.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks using a forklift.
- Transport packaged goods on pallets or in crates throughout the storage area.
- Stack items in the correct storage bays according to instructions.
- Verify that loads are secured and stable.
- Stack empty pallets and relocate stock to appropriate pallets.
- Perform daily equipment checks, including battery charging and lubrication.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a forklift operator.
- Strong attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
- Good physical condition and coordination.
- Valid forklift certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work precisely, promptly and safely while maintaining a clean environment.
