Business Application Integration Administrator

About the role

Within IT Operations, the Business Application Integration Administrator works with application, infrastructure, security, DevOps, developer, business and project teams to deliver solutions that are operable, observable and documented. The role combines application operations, technical delivery, troubleshooting and the implementation of DevOps and Infrastructure as Code practices. It ensures the availability, reliability and continuous improvement of integration services and applications, while reducing operations through automation and improving reliability, performance, security and time to market.

Key responsibilities

• Provide N2/N3 support for business applications and integration platforms, investigate incidents, find root causes and drive remediation.
• Manage changes, problems, service requests and production interventions.
• Automate recurring provisioning, configuration and deployment tasks; build reusable, idempotent Ansible playbooks and roles; design and maintain Terraform modules, environments and workflows.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, support teams from integration through production deployment, and industrialise releases, quality gates, deployments and rollbacks.
• Check production readiness: monitoring, logs, backups, documentation and runbooks.
• Implement technical and functional checks, use metrics, logs and traces to speed diagnosis, and improve alerting, dashboards, KPIs and SLA reporting.
• Integrate applications with transfer, messaging, identity and security services, working across Linux/Windows and container platforms with network, infrastructure, cybersecurity and vendor teams.

Required profile

• Bac+5 graduate (engineering school or university degree) in computer science, systems, networks, DevOps or an equivalent field.
• Fluent English.
• Autonomous, rigorous and structured, user-oriented and able to understand business needs and constraints.

Required skills

• DevOps and delivery: Azure DevOps, Git, YAML pipelines, CI/CD, quality gates and release management.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Packer, modules, variables, state management, environments and code reviews.
• Configuration and automation: Ansible, playbooks, roles, inventories, secrets and runbooks.
• Platforms: Red Hat Linux, Windows Server, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Keycloak, Vault and Nexus.
• Operations tools: Control-M, GoAnywhere, MQ, Centreon, Grafana, logs and SQL.
