About the role
Join STMicroelectronics for a two‑month summer internship in 2026, working on the STM32CubeProgrammer application. You will contribute to both C++ and Java components, enhancing functionality and user experience for embedded developers.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a hard‑stop operation feature using C++.
- Enhance the GUI to support Debug Authentication functionality in Java.
- Implement main‑panel improvements within the Java application.
Required profile
- Enrolled in a Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related program.
- Strong interest in embedded systems and microcontroller software.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a global development team.
Required skills
- C++ development.
- Java development.
- Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Basic understanding of microcontroller architecture (CPU, RAM, Flash, peripherals).
- Familiarity with STM32 MCU platforms.
