Founder in Residence

About the role

Base360.ai is creating an AI operating system for short‑term rental businesses and is looking for a Founder in Residence to launch a new product or business vertical. You will have the backing of the company’s engineering, design, AI and go‑to‑market resources while you build and lead a venture from idea to revenue‑generating business.

Key responsibilities

• Identify high‑potential opportunities in the short‑term rental market and define a new product or business vertical.
• Validate customer problems through research and direct conversations with property managers and rental operators.
• Set product vision, strategy and go‑to‑market plan, and work closely with engineering, product, design and AI teams to launch quickly.
• Recruit, inspire and lead a multidisciplinary team as the venture scales.
• Own growth, product adoption, customer success and financial performance, making data‑driven decisions.
• Present progress to the founders and executive team and evolve the venture into a standalone business.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action and strong problem‑solving ability.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to recruit and manage high‑performing teams.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and creating structure.
• Highly analytical with strong execution capabilities and customer obsession.
• Passion for AI technologies and building products that users love.
• Previous startup experience (founder, early employee, product leader or investor) is a plus.
• Experience in short‑term rentals, hospitality or property technology is a plus.
