Software Tester Apprentice – Apprenticeship (Alternance)

About the role

Join FORVIA's Global Testing Factory Department as a Software Tester Apprentice. You will work on ensuring product quality through functional, regression, and automated testing while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving automotive technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute functional and regression tests on existing products.
• Design and implement test cases for new functionalities.
• Identify, log, and track bugs and errors discovered during testing.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure consistent execution and delivery.
• Propose solutions for identified product issues.
• Communicate test results to all stakeholders according to defined processes.
• Investigate product quality trends and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (bac+3) in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Shell.
• Familiarity with manual and automated testing methods, test case design, and regression testing.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and French.
