Production Extrusion Supervisor

About the role

The Production Extrusion Supervisor will lead the extrusion section at COFICAB’s Medjez el Beb plant. You will be responsible for planning, monitoring and improving the extrusion production line to ensure on‑time delivery, high quality and efficient use of materials.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain extrusion section organization, policies, procedures and visual aids in line with corporate standards.
• Develop detailed extrusion schedules, allocate production orders and human resources, and coordinate with logistics.
• Monitor daily program progress, update schedules, and optimise speed, quality, raw‑material consumption and scrap levels.
• Collect and analyse production data, identify parameter discrepancies and trigger fast problem‑solving actions.
• Support the shop‑floor team in diagnosing issues such as wire breaks, over‑consumption, equipment repairs and 5S compliance.
• Review first‑ and second‑level maintenance activities and contribute to technical specifications for new equipment.
• Validate newly acquired tools and equipment and stop production when non‑conformities arise.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising extrusion or similar manufacturing processes.
• Strong ability to coordinate scheduling, resources and logistics.
• Hands‑on problem‑solving mindset with experience applying fast‑response techniques.
• Familiarity with 5S workplace organization and continuous improvement projects.
