Maintenance Equipment Supervisor

About the role

COFICAB is seeking a Maintenance Equipment Supervisor to lead preventive and predictive maintenance activities at its Medjez el Beb facility. The role ensures equipment availability, performance, and energy efficiency while supporting the maintenance team on complex issues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance policies, checklists, and FMEA documentation.
• Prioritize work requests, schedule work orders, and allocate resources.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance interventions, ensuring compliance with standards, industrial norms, and budget constraints.
• Provide on‑site technical support for diagnosing critical equipment failures and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain accurate records in the CMMS system and monitor maintenance KPIs.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory, supplier coordination, and repair processes.
• Lead projects to improve energy performance of utilities and evaluate equipment after subcontractor interventions.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Maintenance, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar maintenance supervisory role within an industrial environment.
• Proven ability to develop technical documentation and training programs for maintenance teams.
