Process Engineer

About the role

Autoliv is seeking a Process Engineer to support its mission of saving lives through high‑quality vehicle safety components. You will drive continuous improvement, ensure production readiness for new products, and collaborate across production, quality, and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to meet AMG performance targets.
• Provide technical support in industrial engineering, including PFMEA, line balancing, and efficiency improvements.
• Define and maintain production standards, work instructions, setup sheets, and FMEA documentation.
• Establish and optimise production flow, methods, standard times, and capacity targets.
• Participate in problem‑solving activities and 8D teams to resolve quality and process issues.
• Analyse production performance (DPMU, LMPU) and implement corrective actions.
• Support new product launches and machine acceptance to ensure process readiness.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and AMC/AMG teams to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Assist with APS standards implementation and continuous‑improvement tools.
• Participate in internal audits and ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
• Coordinate engineering changes and production updates for new products and process modifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or process engineering.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
