IT SAP CO Consultant

About the role

You will own IT‑supported controlling sub‑processes and translate business requirements into robust, scalable SAP solutions for the DRÄXLMAIER Group. The role bridges business stakeholders and development teams to ensure high‑quality, standardized processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop IT‑supported business sub‑processes based on the DRX process map, focusing on SAP Controlling (CO‑OM, CO‑PA, CO‑PC, PS).
• Evaluate, select, and define implementation approaches for complex requirements.
• Act as the primary interface between business users and software development teams.
• Drive process standardisation and continuous improvement across the group.
• Consult internal customers on optimisation of controlling processes.
• Create functional and requirements specifications for SAP‑enabled processes.
• Define and execute black‑box test scenarios, support roll‑outs and global launches.
• Ensure supervision and quality of SAP Controlling applications.
• Provide user training, documentation, and day‑to‑day consulting.
• Coordinate work packages within IT service requests and international IT projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience with SAP PS, CO‑PA, CO‑PC or CO‑OM.
• Strong knowledge of controlling processes, requirements management, business blueprints, trainings and roll‑outs.
• Hands‑on experience in SAP customization, master‑data management and configuration.
• Understanding of SAP module integration and workflow scenarios; integration with FI, PP, MM is a plus.
• Structured, solution‑oriented mindset with strong analytical abilities.
• Very good English; German is an advantage.
