Site Production Head

About the role

As the Site Production Head at Opella, you will lead all manufacturing operations at our Mégrine facility, ensuring that production runs safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory standards. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to make health products simpler, smarter, and more human.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities, manage schedules and capacity planning, and ensure volume, timeline, and quality targets are met.
• Identify and implement productivity enhancements, cost‑reduction measures, and Lean/Kaizen projects while monitoring production KPIs.
• Lead, coach, and develop production teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure strict compliance with GMP/GxP, HSE, and internal SOPs; coordinate with QA, HSE, and Maintenance for audits and a safe environment.
• Manage resources—including personnel, materials, and equipment—and contribute to budget planning and expense monitoring.
• Maintain strong communication with Supply Chain, QA, HSE, Maintenance, and Planning, representing Production in leadership meetings and stakeholder reviews.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 8‑10+ years of experience in industrial/manufacturing environments, with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Proven track record of leading operations, managing teams, and driving continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or consumer health product manufacturing is a strong asset.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of production management principles (methods, machines, materials, manpower, money).
• Solid understanding of GMP/GxP requirements and industrial quality systems.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies.
