Junior VAT Officer (M/F) – Nearshore

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior VAT Officer to join our nearshore team. You will support a diverse portfolio of national and international clients across various sectors, ensuring accurate VAT compliance and timely filings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare VAT returns for clients in financial, commercial and other industries.
• Monitor and follow up on filing deadlines to avoid penalties.
• Assist clients with day‑to‑day VAT queries, including registration, deregistration, audit support and general advice.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax Law, Business Administration or a related field.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting and VAT principles (scope, right to deduct, territoriality).
• Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
• Strong command of English for client communications and deliverables.
• Good working knowledge of French as part of the local team.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to work well in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Knowledge of advanced Excel functions, formulas and VBA.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools (advantage).
