Information Security Architecture Officer

About the role

This strategic position strengthens the company’s cyber‑resilience and guides the secure digital transformation of a global automotive organization. You will lead the design and implementation of security architecture, supporting plants, business units and global functions.

Key responsibilities

• Align and coordinate information‑security initiatives with the corporate security strategy and roadmap.
• Define, implement and continuously improve processes, strategies and techniques to protect critical assets and information.
• Consult and support plants, business units and global functions in applying defined security requirements.
• Drive global security projects that reduce risk and enhance defence capabilities.
• Develop security solutions, automations and reporting tools to increase transparency and efficiency.
• Build and run cybersecurity awareness programmes, including simulated threat exercises.
• Create risk profiles for projects and assets, evaluating impacts on the security landscape.
• Select and shape the IT/OT security tool portfolio to meet business and operational needs.
• Produce high‑quality assessments, specifications and proof‑of‑concepts for new security technologies.
• Monitor market trends, emerging technologies and evolving threats to recommend strategic actions.

Required profile

• A degree in computer science, cybersecurity, business informatics, business administration or a comparable qualification.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in information security, preferably in architecture or infrastructure‑related roles.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructures, IT/OT systems and security architectures.
• Good programming skills in common languages.
• Broad expertise in IT/OT security and information‑security standards.
• Excellent English communication skills.
