About the role
The Credit Officer is a field‑based commercial professional who prospectes new micro‑ and small‑business clients, manages a portfolio of credit facilities and ensures high‑quality service throughout the loan lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new clients for micro‑finance credit products.
- Manage an assigned credit portfolio and achieve sales targets.
- Evaluate loan applications, prepare reasoned recommendations and approve suitable credit proposals.
- Implement effective collection practices to keep delinquency within acceptable limits.
- Maintain continuous, high‑level customer service and support.
Required profile
- University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management or Economics.
- Minimum three years of experience in credit management (experience in insurance file handling is a plus).
- Strong interpersonal abilities and a customer‑service orientation.
- Result‑driven mindset, analytical thinking and good time‑management skills.
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
