Solution Engineer Cloud and AI

About the role

Join Cisco’s Global Virtual Sales and Engineering (GVSE) team as a Solutions Engineer focused on Cloud and AI infrastructure. You will act as a trusted technology advisor, partnering with account managers to drive strategic deals for midsize and larger customers across commercial, service provider, and public‑sector segments.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with account executives on account planning and opportunity development.
• Provide technical guidance and architecture design for Cloud & AI (Data Center) solutions.
• Leverage Cisco’s portfolio—including security, networking, and collaboration services—to align with customer business drivers.
• Educate customers on Cisco differentiators and create demand for new solutions.
• Work with partners and internal specialists to scale Cisco offerings and reinforce brand preference.
