Software Pre‑Sales Engineer (Gulf Market)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Pre‑Sales Engineer to support our Gulf market customers, primarily in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. You will work closely with sales teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and help win new business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical pre‑sales support, including solution design, architecture diagrams and statements of work.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, respond to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and assist with effort estimation, BOM and sizing.
• Conduct product demos, proof‑of‑concept sessions and workshops for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Engage with customers, partners and internal teams to address technical concerns and build trusted relationships.
• Collaborate with engineering, delivery, product and support teams to ensure smooth hand‑over to implementation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings and company product portfolio.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 3‑6 years of experience in pre‑sales, solution engineering or technical consulting.
• Proven ability to create technical proposals and respond to RFPs.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud.
• APIs, integrations, databases and enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, infrastructure, data or AI solutions.
• Diagramming and documentation tools such as Microsoft Visio or Draw.io.
• Relevant technical certifications (optional).
