Senior Backend Developer - Node.js & Camunda

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and Camunda workflow automation. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining high‑performance microservices and integrations that support enterprise‑grade applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and micro‑services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and support REST and GraphQL APIs as well as system integrations.
• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot Camunda workflows, handling incidents, stuck processes, and worker issues.
• Integrate messaging solutions such as RabbitMQ and Azure Service Bus, and resolve related production problems.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents across APIs, micro‑services, workflows, queues, databases, and external integrations.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and deliver permanent technical fixes.
• Manage source control with Git/GitLab, including branching, merging, cherry‑picking, rebasing, and release/hotfix activities.
• Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, QA, integration, and other technical teams.
• Understand and troubleshoot existing Java/Spring Boot services and Oracle databases.
• Participate in code reviews, deployments, and critical incident resolution.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience developing backend systems and micro‑services.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a proven track record of troubleshooting complex production issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
