About the role
The SME Relationship Manager will join the Retail & Digital Banking Department of Bank ABC in Sfax, reporting to the Head of Retail. The role focuses on managing and growing a portfolio of small‑and‑medium enterprise (SME) and professional clients, acting as their primary point of contact within the bank.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing corporate, SME and professional clients through regular contact and proactive service.
- Identify and acquire new SME prospects, ensuring Bank ABC is considered for key deals and transactions.
- Perform credit assessments, prepare facility proposals and coordinate with product specialists and the Head of Retail.
- Monitor portfolio performance, track frozen debtor and dormant creditor accounts, and ensure compliance with loan‑granting rules.
- Drive revenue by cross‑selling banking products, increasing the share of entrusted flows and meeting budget targets.
- Collaborate with internal departments to deliver seamless service and achieve individual business objectives.
- Oversee renewal of operating credit facilities and support collection of non‑performing loans in coordination with the credit department.
Required profile
- Proven experience in SME or corporate banking, with a strong focus on client relationship management.
- Ability to conduct credit analysis and evaluate financing opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑oriented mindset.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales and portfolio growth targets.
- Good understanding of banking products and regulatory compliance.
